If someone wuz intersted of making a custom install, this wuz the way i did it.
I used a DSL 2-way system (tweeters and mid-bass speakers) with crossovers.

It SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL !

1. First take this out of your car and cut the plastic box out

 

2. Make a paper model of the box

 

3. Cut the wood

 

4. Put the panels together

 

5. Try to see does box fits into the plastic

 

6. Fill the edges of the box so air does not leak

 

7. Try to make the box to fits better to the plastic (remove the edges)

 

8. Make the holes on the plastic

 

9. Make the holes on the box

 

10. Fit the box with the plastic and glue it

 

11. Fill the empty space between the box and the plastic with hard foam, i used metapur foam (dont know how is it called on english, its the blue stuff on the pisture)

 

12. Finished enclosure

 

13. Enclosure fitted in the car

 

14. Tweeters behind the back seats

 

15. Trunk space with amp and crossovers. Wires will be fitted later on,i didnt have time.

is the plastic strong enough to mount the speakers without reinforcement???

 

you did remember to flip the polarity of the reversed speaker... please say yes?
