Looking to sell my 04 RX-8.

Bought it with just under 57k, currently sitting just over 59k on the original engine. Car has had 3 previous owners who kept it well maintained and clean. I have records for everything down to the car up to the point when I bought it.

Since buying, it's had a single oil change (almost time for another) with Castrol GTX 10w30. Always premixed (4oz for 10 gallons of 93 octane). I've modded the wheel well plastic for the better air flow over the oil coolers and I've installed a BHR catless mid pipe. I still have the stock cat that seems ok, but two bolts snapped on removal. I'm sure it could be made to fit back on if need be.

It has everything minus navigation as far as I can tell. The 6 disk change doesn't seem to work anymore and there's a disk stuck in it. But, it has the Aux mod done so I've never bothered to fix the CD player. Everything else works perfect.

Only reason I'm getting rid of it is to clear out my loan. Trying to buy a house. I'm sure I missed something, but feel free to PM me looking for any details or with any questions.

Asking $9200 OBO. I'm pretty reasonable and might take a reasonable offer. Just not looking for any trades.

















I still have the spoiler. It's in good condition and I'll probably throw it back on later this week.

I also realize the rearview mirror is missing in the pictures, I have it. It's an auto dimming mirror from mazda and works fine. I just removed it because it's in my line of site because I'm unfortunately pretty tall. I'll have it back in whenever someone wants to buy.

Did you have a compression test done when you bought it? You won't get top dollar without a recent compression test and good numbers.

I got one within a week of buying it. I need to double check my glove box for the sheet or see if the shop has a record because I couldn't find it with my other records for the car. I remember it being around 125 psi on all sides front and rear. I'd be willing to pay for the compression test myself for a serious buyer. I've only put about 4000 miles on it since the last one in September 2015.

Angel Motorsports in Chesapeake, VA did the test for anyone interested in the shop. They are pretty legit and well trusted in the area.
