2007 RX-8 MT *Not Running* SoCal

Year: 2007
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-8
Price: $2500
Mileage: 136000
Color: Stormy Blue Mica
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): CA

I am selling my 2007 Mazda RX-8 that has just recently stopped starting.
I am the second owner of this car (bought with 57,000 miles on it) and it has given me lots of joy while owning it.

The engine was replaced by Mazda under warranty at 89,000 miles and at that same time I had them put in a new clutch while the engine was pulled.

Currently installed on the car:
AEM Cold Air Intake
Full Aluminum Radiator
Powertrix Coilovers
Racing Beat Sway Bars

The car ran great up until last Friday when I moved it to get into my garage. I thought I let it warm up long enough, but come Monday morning the car would crank but not start and I fear it is flooded. I currently don't have the time to tinker around with it like I used to and get it working again, so I am trying to get it into a nice forever home.

The front bumper lip as well as the majority of the under-tray are missing, but no other major body damage.

Along with the car I will include:
OEM Intake
OEM Suspension
BHR Resonated midpipe (cat-less)

Pictures (I can provide more if asked):

Yeah, I will probably try that tonight when I get home. My only issue is if that doesn't work, getting it back in the garage is going to be a pain. I'd rather not leave it outside until I get rid of it.

I ended up getting the car running, but I have been using it and will need it until my new car arrives in about 2 months.

I will need to hold off on selling the car until then.

Thanks for updating. When you are ready to sell in two months, please let me know! I am definitely interested and also in the SoCal area.

No, it does not have any hot start issues and I have not had the engine compression checked on this as I was originally selling it as a roller. A compression check can be arranged if needed!

Going to be in SD CA this weekend (21-24th).. If you have 'good-enough' compression numbers. I'm very interested with cash in hand. . . Was actually planning on picking up a Miata, but another 8 is more tempting.

Sending you a pm/email

Yep! She's safe and sound in my garage 😊 ... Undergoing some minor surgery....

Fix:
Lift it back up on the coilovers, New Undertray, new front lip, new grill.

Remove:
clear bra and plastidip

Then in 3-4 months, water pump, motor mounts,
