They're a dealer add-on part that adds a new stock to the interior of the car as well as functional fog lights to the exterior. When they're off, the glass lens part of the fog light looks blue/yellow giving it a rainbow-like effect when the sun hits it. When turned on, the light lights up to whatever color bulb you are using.
I hope this kinda answers your question, if anyone else on the forum would like to enlighten us, it would be appreciated.

Hi there,
Unfortunately, I no longer have my RX8... When I had one installed, I used 3M doubleside automotive tape. The spoiler didn't come with any hardware. When I was test fitting it, it fit flush with the arc part of the trunk. If you're close to my location, I'll be more than happy to let anyone test fit it on their own car.

As much as I would like to ship this, I actually have no idea how to package & ship this...

Fog light kit available again~
Kinda want to offload everythign at once, first $80 with local pickup takes the AC/Radio control, Fog Light kit, and license plate relocator in one package! (Sorry, enging cover is on hold for another local rx8club member)
