I actually have a mount that I'm going to place in the radiator opening but I just ran out of time before the meet. In the week leading up to the meet I spent the majority of every night trying different angles for the camera and placement of the mic. The mic turned out to be a big challenge. It is so sensitive that it was picking up every sound including the movement of my clothes!

In the end the experimentation paid off and I was able to get some decent shots of the meet. Anyways, I had a lot of fun creating the video and I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

I want to get everyone together at the end of this month or possibly the beginning of next month to talk about turning this into a real club, the New England RX-8 Club to be exact.

I just need to find a good place for us to meet then I'll post the details of where and when it will be.

 

Sounds great, I think this is a really great idea.

And if the snow has managed to disappear, it would be fun to do another drive, especially with summer tires!

I may be the only 8 running around with studded snows, but I know I’m not the only one running some form of winter snow tires… and I think I can safely say that the itch to put my summer tires/rims back on is starting to get uncontrollable!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just had my new summer tires mounted last week. They are just begging to be put on but I don't think that is going to happen this week with snow in the forecast.

 

There's at least 4 inches on the ground as I type this.....well, looks like my baby is going to be sleeping for a little while...

 

I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday for 2 weeks, so hopefully more the beginning of next month.

There is a NER/SCCA autocross at Devens Airfield on April 4th. That might be a place to meet.
