Well, I guess I've been a little lazy lately and had my JIC front and rear strut bars sitting on my bedroom floor for about 4 days before I decided to put them on. Not that they are a difficult install but like I said, I'm a little on the lazy side sometimes.

Total install time for both was about 1 hr. The front is a direct fit and require no modifications to the car except for a little dremel action on the engine cover to accomodate the larger diamiter of the new strut bar.

First off let me say that these babies are freakin Huge! Super stiff once they are inplace. The most noicable so far is when I'm accelerating into a turn. The front seems to be planted more flat instead of the front inside wheel lifting and having that slight roll feeling.

The rear required the trunk lining to be cut but that only took about 5 min with a good set of Cutco sissors.

Hmmm looks great!! Problem is using the Tein EDFC...

 

Do you have any gadgets to record some lateral G numbers? Or a skidpad outside?

So far the handling has increased in the corners noticably. I need to get back out to the track and take some real notes. The car feels like more of a big go-kart now. Very percise. Me likey.

Yeah, There's no spot for the EDFC servo but I'm sure other strut bars will have a large enough opening to accomodate the unit.

 

We are currently testing the SpeedTracer program for the AutoEnginuity Scan tool. We're thinking of adding a skid pad software to the package.

I'm sure it would but I don't have one though If I can find one I can borrow then I'll gladly give it a wirl.

 

Looks like you punched through the side carpet to mount the JIC coilover adusters? Do they have to be mounted there or can they be mounted facing back so you can keep the tire inflator in the stock location?

The tire inflation kit acctually still straps in the same possision with out the coilover adjusters interfearing. The adjusters can probably be angled back further though I wanted to keep them in as straigh a possision as possible since the cable inside spins to do the adjusting. Think of it like a bicycle brake cable, when there are more bends and kinks the cable has to travel further to activate the brakes, same thing with the adjusters.
