Which makes picking up another R3 posted in my autotrader recently very tempting. Yes, I already own a red one, but this black one going for 14G's Cdn is starting to look very hard to pass up. Just wish it wasn't black. lol ;-)

Hello all. I got locked out of my account for a while and I am finally back.

Update on the RX8. With the way ole' Joe is leading us-gas prices and what not, as well as the needs of my family, this car is no longer a feeler for sale but is moving into the active stage of selling It has 54k miles now, still needs new tires, and just got a fresh oil change. No compression test yet. I have had Teamrx8 offer to send me his tester but with working 3 jobs I don't much have the time, know-how, or curiosity to get it done myself. If someone took it without a test that would be great with me.

 

How much are you asking without the test?

I am providing an update.

Here’s the deal. I put this post out as a FEELER because the fact is I DONT want to sell the car. But with a new baby and a wife that doesn’t want to work, I may be forced to very shortly. I’m doing everything I can to make ends meet where I don’t have to sell the car, but that moment may come soon- in the next month or so. If I can snag a better job, I’ll hang onto it.

The car now has 55k miles and still needs new tires- but I don’t have the funds to get them right now. Thanks for your interest, sorry I’ve been out of reach.

If it had a compression test with good numbers it would more than likely be gone because that is a good price but if it needs a red hood no so good

 

I am probably going to reach out to someone I know who has a tester and just do it at home since it doesn't seem difficult. No dealer around me for 200 miles is capable, which is kind of pathetic if you ask me
