Bodyshop in Rhode Island/Mass. area.

Hello everybody. I couldn’t find an answer from searching so here it goes. I was recently in an accident where I was stopped and somebody hit my rear bumper. It doesn't look so bad but the whole bumper will have to be replaced as well as the plastic that surrounds the tailpipes. Any recomondations on a bodyshop in the RI/MA area? Should I take it to a Mazda dealership like Tasca?.
Any response is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the bad pics, insurance dude took them.

Also anyone ever get compensation for reduced resale value as a result of an acident?

Sunlight Silver.

I got the check from the insurance company, so I guess I'll take it to the dealer.

I got a black 6m, appear. pk, and spoiler. didn't go for the leather (cold in winter, burns in summer), so your not the only one in mass that goes to this website, but I still might be that old man...

I would use the IRA Body shop in Danvers MA. Ira has a Mazda dealership and have body shop mechanics that are trained specifically on Mazdas. They also do Toyotas, Lexuses, Subarus, etc. I have taken 2 cars there for repairs and they looked just like new when done.

ok so all the dealers and collision shops that I went to said that the new bumper wouldn't come painted. This means that they would have to "try" to match the color and would have to also paint and blend into the rear quarter pannels. Why doesn't Mazda just send out the bumper painted, they've got the formula after all?

Oh well.

Hehe I may be the old guy w/black 8. I live in Templeton but travel to Shrewsbury everyday for work. I also travel for work to other sites like Natick, acton, fitchburg, webster, holliston so I get around a bit. I got silver grill inserts in front..chrome grill..chromed rear..red calipers & a paintball splat on rear window (american flag logo). I wave to all RX 8 owners I;ve seen since february 04...the blue one on rt 290 in july..the silver one on rt 9....& another black one outside of Boston w/sexy Blonde just ripping up the pavement (twas embarrissing I was only doin 80) hehe
