Sad to say goodbye to my RX-8 R3 which I bought new in 2010. Original engine! Meticulously maintained and I have all service records from Mazda. No collisions. Everything is original, 0 modifications. Not shown on car here but I do have the stock 19” rims I use for summer and this car includes 2 sets of wheels/tires (see separate photo of stock rims. I have all 4 and they have some curb rash on each).

Car is not currently drivable. Recently having trouble with gears and brought into Mazda dealership. Needs new clutch. Also, given the age and last compression test (See photo, from December 2023 when milage was 141,820 miles/228,237 Km) will need new engine soon. Of note, the engine light is currently on (solid not flashing) and when I had this checked last month there are 2 codes (p0037 02 sensor heater circuit low and p0054 02 sensor heater resistance low). Definitely a project car.

This car has always been garage stored and this is the first time it has been outside overnight (past few days). No major scratches or dents. Interior is excellent overall. Has spare tire kit, cargo net, and original RX-8 floor mats. The only things noticeable are some minor stains on front and rear passenger side seats, and a small tear in shifter leather.

Of note, I bought this car new in Scranton, PA and then imported to Canada in 2013 if that helps any of you living in the US to make it easier to import back.

Asking $2000 USD / $2800 CAD OBO. I strongly prefer not to sell the 19” rims/tires separately, however, they are off the car so that is easier and possible for me.

I see its sold and I wasn't a buyer anyway, but I'm just curious, what is actually involved in buying a used car in canada and then bringing it to the US? Do you need a passport to get in to canada these days? Had I been a buyer, and since I don't have a passport, could the seller of potentially met me at the border? I'm very curious how something like this could have worked.
