Looking for a 2004-08 RX8 rolling chassis. Preferably manual transmission. Don't care about condition of engine or transmission. Needs to have minimal to no rust, dents, scratches. Needs clean title.

I have a 2006 shinka Copper Red that is in immaculate condition no rust. Bought it for the motor but its an automatic car. Lemme know if interested !

unless you intend to swap out the rest of the entire drivetrain & suspension you might want to rethink an auto trans chassis because it still had the lesser of everything found on the MT chassis

Planning on an LFX swap. Rust free, manual transmission, Sport model RX-8s seem to be especially hard to come by these days...especially in the north. I've only just begun my search but I may be willing to deal with the headache of using an auto Rx-8 in order to get a solid chassis.

 

all i can say is i have about the most rust free and clean chassis. its no different than the manual if you strip it and put a slave cylinder in the firewall and change the pedals . if you arent worried about wiring related things or codes and dont have head clearance issues with the sunroof

i bought this car for the motor but i know my rx8's and this shinka is nice and clean and the colors are nice. i would probably be switching the seats to the other leather sand set i have from a 2007 cwp, and the center console :P

not looking to get anymore than 2k for it .. i can get some good pics of how clean it is

 

I have a 2009 R3 in great condition inside and out, transmission issues, but essentially perfect otherwise. Frankly this is the best chassis I've driven, and I've owned an E-46 M3!

I still have the 2007 S1 base model (no sunroof or DSC) that I picked up in Atlanta earlier this year. It has the drivetrain still, but was only running on one rotor, is pretty much rust free, most of the interior is stripped, most of the exhaust system is missing, and OE clear coat is peeling off from sitting in the sun. I was thinking to make it into a track car, but it’d likely be a year or two before I can get to it with the other two RX8s going on. Located east of Dallas near Greenville, TX.

ugh, just kidding, still looking for clean chassis

 

Still have mine; manual, no sunroof, but peeling clearcoat and most of the interior removed, rust free though, engine still in and runs, but only on one rotor and missing the mid/cat pipe midpipe (loud and n@sty) at least it can be driven onto a trailer. It has an RB intake box and catback though, and a new battery.

I was thinking about building out a stroker 347 SBF and stuffing it in there for a track car but that was before the economy went full-Biden
