Rich - emailed you a few times about the replacement pin to get rid of the rattle, not sure if you received my emails. Can you get one of those out to me? Let me know if I need to email you separately again.

All the ones I had names for are mailed out.
Give me your zip and I'll tell you.

I still need a name and address to ship to.
I tried putting PCS on the package but the PO wouldn't take it.
They want an address.

ATT. All the S2.2 shifters mailed out last week have to come back.
There was a mistake in the program and the shoulder is to high to allow reverse.
If you got one don't install it just turn it around.

RP,

Does that mean that we shouldn't bother installing the recently shipped replacement parts? Or are those OK?

Please advise, thanks!

Got mine today, my zip is 11572. I'm assuming this is a 2.2. Did not receive any instructions or dowel, but will attempt install from Paimons website.

Thanks,

-FG

You do not need dowels or spacer plate with the S2.2 it's a drop in just like S1 was.

I just installed the shifter and my first impression was that sliding into first gear, in other words front left corner is not so easy. I kind of have to go a little to the right to find first. Did I do something wrong? The pros so far are that the shifts from second to third are much more smoother. The movement of the shifter is also very rigid.

I think you'll get used to that, to the point of not noticing it. It's just that the throw is shorter sideways also and it doesn't hit the side wall.
I do need to ask you if the reverse lock out is working.
We had trouble with one unit and I want to know if it's just that one.
Could you email me direct at: rap@axialflow.com

We solved the lockout problem. Which also made the shift into first easier.
Now there is only one left.

thanks! I'll send payment once you confirm if you want me to send directly through PayPal or your website. Would you be able to ship tomorrow? Ship date will determine which shipping address I'll put down.

Pay however you like. If you buy now it will go out tomorrow at noon. Via Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days. If you're near a major city it will take 2 otherwise 3.

Replacement parts ??????

Hi Richard, I've sent you several emails regarding the replacement parts from the first batch of shifters sent out. I haven't received any updated parts or correspondence from you either. Can you tell me if you're getting my emails. Regards
Jared

Richard, I believe I purchased the last one from the most recent batch. I'm not so certain mine had the new parts mentioned in page 9 since the vibration is quite audible above 2k RPM. I'll be local to you in 1.5 weeks. Are you free the week of the 18th for me to stop by?

I've got a new part designed for the upper bearing. It will not be ready for about two weeks. It will be free to anyone who is having a problem.
Hopefully it will work that is.
