Supposedly #40 is leading the GT Class, now let's see what has happened when I wake up! Planning to go to the track again at around 1-2. Again, hope you all enjoyed it.

P.S., I didn't really take much pics of the other cars other than #70 cuz... well honestly I didn't think their paint schemes are good looking. Gooooo Mazda!

Fog set in about 5:30am, but #40 Dempsey Racing leading in GT as I write this Sunday morning about 7:30am.

Ya know, you'd think this would be my favorite car/team given my last name is splattered all over the side, but it's a beamer!

Excuse me, I'm a little delirious this morning got called in to work at 2:00am to solve an issue and didn't get home until 5:00am. Would still like to make it up there today, but don't wanna drive 1 1/2 hours up to only get called to head right back. Now.......where the hell is my coffee!

What a shame on #40 losing the lead this morning. At least he got back in the race and finished 3rd. The rest was all Porsche Porsche Porsche.

Yea... The firework was lame... Really lame... lasted like 2 minutes.


This was pretty awesome, gave us a pretty good view.

 

Cool pics, I went last year, and will probably go again next year, Ill definitely be at other venues this year though...

 

I'm planning on going next year with my extra week vacation. I'd like to stay in Jacksonville again too, I liked that city and beaches when I was there last year en route to Daytona.

What I really didn't like about the event was how unwell the workers are trained, I swear they just put a badged on them and tell them to work. They knew NOTHING about directions and different people tell me different things about parking. At one gate, I was told the parking pass could only be used one day and you can't come back if you went out. (On the pass it clearly says you could, I was almost so mad that I yelled at the girl at the gate, but phew forget it, I just drove around and went to the other gate) Once there they let me in once they see the parking pass.
BUT SERIOUSLY TRAIN YOUR WORKERS DIS!

 

I was there both days!! I parked next near york with a few other 8s and then i cam back on day 2 with my friend red 8 and we backed in right next to york

 

and secretly placed advertisements on my car!

Almost all those workers are locals just picking up a few bucks for the weekend. When something changes at the track, they don't know whats what.
