Hi all,

I'm doing a 6 hour endurance kart race in a coulpe weeks at Lime Rock CT. This is an "arrive and drive" event, which means you just need to show up and they provide everything from karts to gas to safety gear.

You can enter as an individual participant and be placed on a team with either 3 or 4 other people (the price depends on the number of people on the team). I'm asking to be put on a 4 person team which means 1.5 hours of seat time. The cost is something like 465 per person including safety gear rentals.

The event is on Saturday June 7th. They also have a race school the Friday before the event.

Anybody else interested in doing this? Would be kind of cool to get a team of RX8 people together

Sorry...just realized it's 465 per person for the 6 hour race...i thought it was for the whole team...too bad but I need to save for the appearance package on my rx-8 ...car gets priority

Yeah it's a bit pricey but its a pretty good deal for what you get..

Dude I've been telling you about this **** for how long?

They have another scheduled on the same track in July August and September, and they are coming to Englishtown in October. I want to do at least a couple more of their events this year let's team up

 

I just got my account back to OK status , if i knew this sooner i would have gone with you. I'm sure its not the open waste gate experience

 

I will be going again soon, but to Englishtown this time.. I'll post up here again when I do
