Hey guys! As some of you may already know, Toan (shinkuu) and I will be moving to North Carolina this summer. This will be our last get-together with all the original members. I hope everyone can come, especially the OGs from when we used to have tC's!

Who: TEAM 5 RACING
What: Our last event, a meet & greet BBQ & bonfire at the beach!

When: Saturday June 21, 2008 at 11am
Why: Because we're leaving, and Mission Bay is a lot shorter drive than NC!

We'd like to treat this like a pot-luck, especially since we will have nothing left to bring by this time, so when you sign up to come, please also list what you will be bringing to contribute.

We decided to change the venue for this event, information below:

We moved the event to Mission Bay, De Anza Cove. Directions have been posted and a new map linked. I believe dogs are permitted on leash here, as well as alcohol from noon-8pm on the beach. Hope to see you there!

Directions Take I-5 to the Clairemont Drive Exit, head West to East Mission Bay Drive, then right to North Mission Bay Drive. This road goes into the parking lot of De Anza Cove. Parking is free in these lots.

I'm sure we will be easy to find once you get there.

i know i'm not a team 5 member, and have just met you (at buttonwillow, if you recall)... but

how's the surf there??? haha. i'll try to make it... and i'll bring my board! anyone else wanna paddle out with me?

also, i think you should change the location to Rotary Park! its just south-east of the dollar sign on that google maps link... by the oceanside pier. (kidding)

 

Great we'd love to have you, and no worries about not being a team 5 member, everyone is welcome to come whether you know about the team or not. Not sure about the surf there, but maybe google can give you some info on that area. I've never surfed myself so I'm not much help.
