Yes, I am leaving Friday afternoon and coming home Sunday night.

 

Did you even know Dave? Or are you just going because it's a big rotary meet?

 

Did we have to know Dave to be able to go? I thought the purpose was to show support for him and his family...

You did not have to know Dave to go to this. This is to remember a rotary brother who is no longer with us and to show support to his family.

 

i went last year did not know him. but i went for support.
alot of cars showed up. it was slow going which is the way it should be
for such an event.

 

No I did not know Dave or his family... I just thought it would be cool to meet some people in person that I am always seeing on the form... I think Dave's family wont mind if I come... I mean well and love to support any family that has lost a loved one.... So would recommend any all people to show and give this family some support.....

So do we get to take old waterman road again? That was a cool street.
The sound of that many RX's echoing through the valley was incredible.

 

Too bad, you never had a chance to the meet him. He was a rotary genuis and a funny *** guy! Also, I gotta give it to you for showing the family and friends support even though you never knew him! I'm sure they will appreciate you coming, and won't mind at all! Here is a old picture of him, like I said.. A very funny dude!
