IF that hood had more vents on the bottom (closer to the bumper) I'd buy it in a SECOND!

true that.
So did you weigh your hood before installing it? I heard the stock hood is only 15lbs. How much did yours weigh?

I like that hood too. But I'm thinking of going with smaller holes and maybe a different design.

Nah.. didnt weigh it.... I just wanted the look... I got it from Showstoppersusa.com for $600 shipped.... brand new, flawless, in less than 5 days... I was impressed... Got the hood and front bumper painted for 700, and 100 to blend the fenders... looks awesome....

Those are really nice looking. Especially since it's a 5 spoke.

How much are they?

How much do they weigh?
Wheels were around $700 w/chrome lip on WheelMax.com. Oddly enough they don't list a weight! But at 24-25 lbs. for the box to ship, minus a couple lbs. for the cardboard box = 22-23 lbs. I'd guess. Obviously the weight wasn't much of a concern to me.

I've had the Nitto's before, liked them then and these seem to be just as good.

Hey flyboy I love your wheel setup.

Chrome, Mazdatrix caps, Drilled/Slotted rotors, and red calipers. I've been planning to do the exact same thing!

Good work on the whole car also

Heres my 8. I gotta take some new photos of her, these are old. Once the Fires in the National Park (West Head) die down, I'll head there and take some sick photos

VR,
Wow! Wow! BTW did I say WOW!!?? Those wheels are fantastic! I went to Wheelmax and tried to find them. Are those the Z-08's ? If so, they look so much better on your '8 than the Wheelmax pics.

They will definitely be on my "what to do next" list!

P.S.
I like the way your red caliper reflects in the chrome rim in pic #1.

Thanks Glass, where've you been lately? Not over at the web much! Yes, they are the Z-08's with the chrome lip (I believe they offer 3 different lips).

7andan8,
I've been lurking around somewhat but I guess not posting very much. Just too much going on in life, YKWIM?

Anyway, I also like the rubbber you have there. What are they and how do you like them? I'm coming to the end of life for my OEM's and will be needing new shoes next summer. I've been looking seriously at the Goodyear Eagle F-1s (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Eagle+F1+GS-D3) They have had some very good reviews and I love the tread pattern!

What do you think?

I bought the Nitto 555's, again. I liked them well enough with my OEM rims so I stuck with them on the new rims. They are very reasonable in price. Whitey over at web.com just bought Eagles for his car this year, he LOVES them. Said it made all the difference in the world in regards to handling.
