So yeah... basically, my car got hit by a hit and run driver... I was at the post office and I went inside to check my PO Box to see if I got anything new... My remote starts beeping (I have a two-way alarm installed on my car) and then I looked out, I see a white van screeching off. Unfortunately, I couldn't get "her" license plate... I contacted the people that works there and they went to the back, checked their security cameras and sadly, they didn't catch it on camera. So right now, my rear right rims are all scratched up and runs onto my rear fender all the way to my bumper, I'll have pics when I can obtain a digital camera. Luckily, there's no dents, no panel damage, it's all light scratches all the way from fender to rear right bumper. I don't want to go through my insurance company for repairs since my deductible is quite high. Can anyone here recommend a great paint/body shop with great prices?

That sucks man.

I assume the scratches are deep enough to catch your fingernail when you run it across them. If not they can be buffed out.

 

Yeah, they're very deep. I got the pictures, they're from my cell phone so they look sorta crappy...










I forgot to take pictures of how the rims looked after she hit it...

 

You can even see the metal of the actual bumper underneath the paint... if anyone know of a good place for repairs, please post in the thread or pm me. Thanks in advance.

F***ing mini van drivers are as bad as suv drivers. Some one smashed the back of my 8 some time back and I mean smashed it. I was parked at my small quiet apartments in my parking spot to.
So yeah I feel your pain.

Also Lazi once recommended a body shop here in the Orange County area. If i remember correctly(which is unlikely) its call Active X body shop; on anaheim blvd. I tried searching it but yeah - didn't go over very well...PM him.

I've had the same thing happen to me, except it was at airport long term parking. I don't really know any bodyshops down here, but I do feel for you.

This just goes to show you that you can't have anything nice with out someone wrecking it and not caring. Perfict example..

not all that long ago I met a friend of mine at his house and he had been drinking, so I was driving his car and I parked in this parking lot and pulled through to the space infront(nose pointing out with the headlights on) dumb bitch comes flying around and trys to park ontop of us. we had been sitting in the space for about 30 seconds. She hit us doing at least 20 mph and no brakes at all.

The bitch gets out of her SUV and yells at us what we where doing. Of course she's fine and hurt one bit, but on the other hand our airbags went off and my friends nose was broken..

 

F that **** dude. I hope you somehow find who hit your car dude and have her pay cash every single penny. I hate the haters in this world. they see a nice car and since their cars are all old on crippled when i park my car when they open the doors they just slam them agains my side. man i hate that. i have atleast like 4 small dents n pain chips coming off. i f ing hate that.

 

well. someone just hit me at wallmart a few days ago. and all i can say is. im pissed. cause i was getting notebooks all happy and ready to go to school. and when i come out i see a much worse case of hit and run that what u have. non the less. IT JUST PLAIN SUCKS!.

..if only there was a way to find out who these people are.

Did they catch them on the security cameras? That's even worse, you didn't even get to see who hit your car.... I saw my hit and run driver screeched off...

 

sike. walmart camera's aernt even on most of the time . at least not recording ..idk i think i woulda been more in pain if i actually SAW it.. maybe it was better this way lol.
