a friend on another mazda forum (www.mazda247.com) chopped a Mazda3 hatch w/ the MS RX-8, looks pretty darn sweet i must say!

I think it's a great chop, Hank, and I actually really like the look of it. A nice rotary powered grocery getter would be so convenient. Can't quite fit an 85lb dog in the back of the current rx8.

looks funky. maybe if it was a two door and the hood was higher. our car's front angles too low to make a hatch.

i dig it. looks very cool. even though at the first glance, i wasn't very comfortable with it as i am so used to just looking at 2 cars seperatly. but it is a cool looking wagon.

I'm a big fan of sporty hatches and wagaons, along the lines of Z3 coupe, Z4 M Coupe, Mazda 3, etc. etc. But IMO that looks baaaaaad in a baaaad way >.<
