LAPD visits monthly LAX RX-8 meet!
Best meet yet! Just a preview for all those who didn't come (I'll write up the whole story later when I have the pics set up):
Total car counts:
6 - RX-8s
6 - G35s
3 - 350Zs
1 - Street bike (Yamaha R6)
0 - S2ks________
16 Total
2 - LAPD Motorcycles
6! - LAPD Crown Vics
1 - LAPD Suburban______
9 Total LAPD Vehicles w/ officers, including 3 sergeants & 0 TICKETS ISSUED!

LAPD Attends LAX RX8club Meet Pt.II
[Rumble coming up the ramp] "Hmmm, we have another bike coming?"
Nope, it's a cop bike and a Crown Vic. X.x Everyone looks at each other wondering what to do and why they've come. I proceed to snap pics ^.^
Sergeant: Can I have everyone gather round?
And as all of us reluctanty gather up, 2 more crown vics and a bike pull up. >.<
And then the Suburban shows. All of us laugh and a couple of "oh sh*****t"s pass around XD
He gave us this speech about how the parking lot is private property, LAX is close by making it all the more suspicious, and the reason that they've come out in force is that some use the parking lot for donuts/burnouts/tire shredding/etc. Great thing is he knew it wasn't us because we were all parked, not a single engine on, just chillin, and ooooobviously not the type of people/cars to be doing that sh*t. We assured him that we've been doing this meet for a year now, gave him details, and that we make a point of not letting any1 doing that crap.
And ANOTHER pair of Vics roll in.
A shot of 5 of the the Police Interceptors (The 6th had gone around to the left out of the frame to check out the cars).
This cop owns a coupe and sedan G35 each! Needless to say he really liked this one.
One of the guys talking w/ a rookie about the perks of the job.
Afterwards we went to In-N-Out like always

I wish the Chicago cops (they were some suburban cops actually) would treat us like that. We had our annual rotary barbecue, we had legally rented the space in park and were doing nothing wrong and they still came in and started writing tickets and broke it up.
