kind of doubting there was any such intent of proclaiming to be king of the hill; but while New Zealand certainly represents for it’s size and isolated island location, probably not on that point since the state of California alone could easily dwarf a 400 entry if there was an honest effort made to prove something.

As a native Californian (and only speaking for my tastes) their cars appear to be made of a much higher quality and also more authentic to jdm imo. I'd personally say that the quality of the NZ meet far exceeds American standards. But yeah if there was a mass call purely to establish numbers, I'd bet CA could produce thousands. Hopefully the SS team can put an event together this year.

My only hope in life is that one day humanity will grow out of the pissing contest phase.

Having been to both .... I'd say the US cars are generally to a higher standard - certainly the RX8s I saw at Sevenstock were head and shoulders above REunion. The NZ event is much more about people thrashing their rotaries than presentation. It features burnouts , drag racing , roll racing (supposed to be cruise sessions but kiwis can't help themselves) , grip racing , drifting and just a weee bit of show and shine. As far as a pissing contest goes .... I was only having a gentle dig at the 'we have the biggest' remark ..... that's all. I know Jedi and I'm sure he didn't see it as anything more than a friendly ribbing.

Brettus: not at all my friend, I know you well enough to know it was said in jest.
been looking at pictures, looks like you guys had another great turnout and it continues to motivate us to keep putting on our own little event.

SS organizers are planning a meeting in the next 2 weeks to get things rolling for 2021 so stay tuned.

I still stand by what I said. Funny 'presentation' is mentioned when referring to our American event. It's very telling imo. I'd personally rather see Chris Muscat's FC in person and performing on track than anything that's here stateside. Just my opinion.

CA car enthusiasts are a very special breed. Especially post social-media.

Chris Muscats 'Silver Bullet' FC. One of the nicest 7's on the planet imo. The FullBoost video is well worth the watch imo. Sad the views are so low for some reason. Beats me??? Every wanna-be racer in america gets more risking innocent driver/pedestrian lives 'street racing' on public roads.

Anyways, I wish there where more builds like this around here. Hopefully in the future there will be, one can always hope. Enjoy!
