Tanabe NF or GF
Has anyone tried installing NF or GF series from Tanabe on their S2?
I ordered a set of NF but I am not 100% if it fits. I havn't tried yet. EDIT: So finally took it to the shop and got the springs installed. Perfect drop IMO, dropped enough to close down the wheel gap. Now it feels more bumpy, is this normal? |
On the Racing Beat website their front and rear springs fit 04 to 09. I think the springs will fit.

Ok, I am taking my car to the shop in 3 days so get the springs installed.
What can I suggest the mechanic to do to not mess up the chamber too much. I am not sure when I will take the car in for an alignment after that. (I haven't found a good place yet to do the alignment) Anything special that I should tell him? Thanks |

It's generally more bumpy if you have lowering springs on your stock shocks. You'll also lower their life expectancy as well.

I thought because the R3 has aftermarket Bilstein shocks, so it might be different from "stock" shocks.

Hm... so its 2 weeks sinces I got it installed.
My rear right side is lower than the left... I suspect a more tilt wheel on the lower side. My car is in the dealership to get an alignment done. I hope the adjustment from the camber / title will fix this lower side. |
Looks like the alignment did help to even the height.
The car feels awesome in turning and conering. I can only say I love it... |
Good to hear Ken, Glad you are enjoying the springs.

+1 to race root for helping me to decide which spring to use.
