More than you can afford, pal! :D: I keed, I keed! I would guess about 5000 bux to start off and more with custom spring rates. :fingersx: I do have a question - to pull of the 265's, did you have to roll/tuck/pull the fenders? They look meaty and functional. GREAT SET UP! Back on topic: I love the line of the TSW forged wheels. They are not mad tiite JDM herraflush y0! but they are comparable at half the price and great for street and track use. |

TSW had some new wheels at SEMA and this is one of them. A concave version of the Panorama.
I love this wheel but 8.5 and 9.5 are the only resonable widths they come. Would I be clear to run a 19x9.5 +40 with no worries of clearance inside. Ordering some Stance GRs pretty soon first so I have time to decide |

Depends on the tire size and how low you go but most likely you will not have an issue.

Yeah, Moton Club Sport dampers retail for about $5k these days, plus you have to buy springs and front top mounts, so it's not for the faint of wallet. But they are amazing dampers if you track your car regularly. I first used Motons on my race car (a Honda I ran in the Canadian Touring Car Championship), and once you get hooked on the control a high end motorsport damper like this provides, it's really hard to live without it. That said, for about half the price it's hard to beat KW V3 or Ohlin R&T.
I rolled the rear inner fender lip to clear the 265's, but the fronts didn't need to be rolled. My ride height is pretty reasonable at 13.75'' inches (measured vertically from the wheel center to the fender lip). I could definitely fit a 275 or maybe even a 285 if I really wanted to, but at the power level the car has there's really no need for more tire (and 245s or 255s might be just as fast...I've haven't tested these sizes on the 8 yet). Actually, wait, that's not true, I did test some 245 BFG R1-S race tires, but that wasn't an apples to apples test since its a super soft compound and the 265's I've run are either street tires (Bridgestone RE-11) or a semi-slick (Hankook TD). Here's a video of the BFG's in action: http://youtu.be/D46vU6kpbgg?hd=1 |
