Esc light and abs light on after having done service to brakes

Just had rotors changed and everything was fine for weeks then I had some detailing work done to the calipers today (cosmetic stuff) and suddenly when I picked it up both lights are on. I took small roads immediately after but now after restarting it I tried getting on 70 mph roads and the stability light was really causing issues with the drivability. What happened here possibly?

Someone damaged or unplugged a wheel speed sensor perhaps What exactly did the detailer do?

Painting calipers, red on a black rx-8 looks incredible especially with new drilled and slotted rotors.

Anyway yea I started and drove home again the lights are still there causing the same issues. I looked it up as much as I could found some info that if you turn the wheel on a Mazda to the far left then far right resets the esc but I don't think that is the solution. Might just have to call up this guy.

When I first saw the product I was like I don't know much but he over sprayed a little bit with the red in two places. Didn't make the best impression but I think paint thinner or sand paper could deal with it but still... Yea

Thank you for the reply as always man

I agree with Loki. Sounds like they broke the wheel speed sensor. Easy to do if you do not know how to disconnect it properly. I suppose they could have painted over the sensor pickup if it was unclipped somehow.

Funny story so I was driving with these lights indicating the sensor was not functioning and all, as coincidence would have it I then got a flat tire which destroyed it, and that's fine since the tire was old enough. I replaced the tire, lo and behold the sensor reactivated.
