End link noise in rear?

Help!

I've been having a soft tapping/clunk in the rear left for a few weeks now. Its only at low speed when accelerating, braking and especially going over gutters and driveways. With it mostly happening under suspension shift I thought it would be the end links. Cue today when I get in for a good look, end links are whole and tight, and the boots on everything else are fine. No leaks from the strut either.

Its an RX8 R3 with 40,000km. It does have eibach springs which have lowered it an inch. The only thing that doesn't look 100% right is the angle on the end links. They are a little twisted inside their boots.

Edit - this is taken with the rear body on jacks, so no suspension load.

Someone more experienced than me tell me if that's fine?

If not adjustable endlinks could be the way, and new tyres go on this week and I can always get the shop to have a listen.

it looks like your rear swaybar is on backwards

im basing this off of the assumption that the left hand side of the pic is towards the front of the car (based on the HID leveling unit).

have you removed the rear swabar recently?

As far as I'm aware it's never been off.

I'm fighting a noise in the rear as well with my R3. Everyone keep tellilng me its the endlinks. Not my case. I had to ride in the trunk with the side panels off to find where the noise was coming from. The upper strut nut on the right rear strut is ever so slightly loose and is causing an aweful noise in the rear only with vehicle movement. Or jounce the suspension in the rear it will make a creaking noise too. I torqued it back down and the noise went away but after one session, it started making niose again. I ordered parts from mazdaspeed in hopes to fix it. The parts catalog shows those parts to be a "B" or "C" number which shows an improved part. Maybe they made changes on the later models to fix it? I haven't seen any TSB's on it. I'll repost with pix to show what im talking about. Hope this helps narrow your search.
