17x8 RPF1+45 Fit?

Are there going to be any brake clearance issues with these wheels? Would love a solid answer or two before I commit to these. Btw, I know these are skinny and will look bad, that's fine with me, so please no comments on that :)

Yes they will fit.

With 17's the only issue with brake clearance are the balancing weights, if you get the wheels balanced make sure they put them towards the back of the inside on the rims.

Awesome, tyvm Emery!

Get 17x9 +45 you'll thank me later. Also 17x8 +38 fills out the wheel wells a bit better if you really want an 8" wheel. I have a set of those if you're interested.

You know what, I might actually be interested in those Evo wheels, if those are the ones you are talking about. What lugs are you using, and can you use the stock Mitsubishi lugs? Pm me a reasonable price with shipping to 37918 and I'll definitely consider it!

Oh I don't have those ones anymore the stock Evo 8 wheels are 17x8+38, they were still a little sunk, plenty of room for lower offset or maybe some spacers. I sold them to get a set of 5zigens in 17x9. You do have to use the Mitsubishi lugs because they are a shank style seat not a standard conical tuner seat on the wheel.

The ones I have right now that i dont need are 17x8 +35 RPF1's with no tires. I thought they were +38 but they are +35 which is almost no difference. Still fit with plenty of room.

sorry to bring up a dead thread but i was wondering what you guys thought about 17x8 +45 in the front and 17x9 +45 for in the rear for rpf1s and also i was wondering what you guys thought would be best for tire size.

square setup.
17x9 +45
255/40

would i have any problems with a 17x9 +30? i can roll my fenders if i really have to it looks like i have enough clearance for the brakes

There's already an entire thread for questions like these.

I am also in search of used lightweight 17x9 +4 preferably RPF1 wheels.

just a tip look for honda civic and s2000 wheels they have a good chance of being the right size too

so I found set of rpf1s 17x9 localy but they are 30mm offset. will that cause rubbing issues on the track. acording to the wheel calculator it will push the wheels out a bit more than 1 inch:

Inner Clearance:
2.3mm more
Outer Position:
extend by 27.7mm

Nadrealista - hold out for the 17x9 +45 or +48 - those should fit better. If doing the RPF1s, you'll need to (like the poster above) either have them put all the weights on the inside portion of the wheel barrel, or have them put the wheel weights on as individual pieces oriented perpendicular to the orientation they normally come on the sticker in order to avoid getting clipped off by the caliper (and dragging / scratching the barrel of the wheel).
