Lowering 09 rx8 r3
 

i just bought a new 09 rx8 r3 edition, and i really want to get rid of the gap between the wheels and fender, i'm having a hell of a time trying to get info on whether or not i can lower the car with lowering springs designed for previous models. it seems that no companies have made a specific spring for this car yet, i really want to know if springs for 08 or earlier will work on this car, any info will help, thanks

I've heard that it can be done with the Series 1 springs.

The lower rear spring perches are located higher on the 09 shocks, about 15mm

I haven't had any issues and haven't heard that anyone else has had any problems with the same springs everyone else uses. I'm on Eibachs and they're great so far.
