gas cap
 

When you are filling up your rx-8 what do you do with the gas cap. I've noticed there is no little lip or anything to put it on the lid like some cars have. I hold mine up til I stick the filler nozzle in and set it on top.

Do you just let it dangle on the fender or something else?

on my R3 theres like a hook thing where I could put the plastic rope thing thru and hold it there.

For about .25 I made my own, in New Jersey they do not have self serve gas pumps.

guess I'll have to take a look at it when I go downstairs. my 2nd gen rx-7 doesn't have a cable holding it to the car so I always just set it on my sub box in the hatch.

i too have a small hook so that i won't hold the cap all the time while waiting
