First Issue
I have had the car since Feb. and it currently has about 2600 miles on it. Went for a drive last weekend and had no issues; went to start it up today and click, click. Still had enough juice to lock and unlock the doors, but no enough to start it. I threw a battery jumper pack on it and it started right up; hopefully the problem doesn't continue.

you brought it use or new, if new just bring it back to dealer, if it's use then just change the battery...
|
Only 2600 miles...
How often are you using your car... Very long periods of Non use will slowly Drain Battery, Engine Immobilizer and If you have an Alarm Fitted. Or you perhaps left your trunk lid open. If you do not use your car for weeks get a trickle charger to keep battery charge full. OH And CHECK Battery FLUID Water...You could have Dry Plates.. |
Hi Ash,
where can i get those trickle charger? how to use it if i leave my car for about 3 month? |
1 Attachment(s)
Battery Tender ftw. Mine stays on all Winter.

Well just when I thought I had it fixed and the car worked great for a few days...it's dead again. It takes a jump well, but as soon as I think I am in the clear I go to start it and nothing. Time to buy a new battery or take the time and go the dealer.

Mine has sat on battery tender for a month or a more at a time, no problems at all since I bought it. |
Mine just won't hold a charge at all...I do agree that I battery tender is a good idea, but it's sort of like a band aid.

The dealers often kill the battery on the lot...so you can get a marginal battery on a brand new car
Take it back and get them to fix it :) |

Very unusual for a 09 car, but, it can happen, just be sure you have not cooked it?? Fluid levels OK? |

CTEK are an excellent brand, looks like they have changed model Numbers, I have the 8300 which I think is now the 800, Highly recommended, also with a quick connect feature. http://www.batteriesdirect.com.au/sh...627/xs800.html |
Fluid levels were good, but when we checked each cell with a volt meter a few came back very weak...so I guess I will be going to the dealership when I get a chance.
