Alternative to RB Water Temp adaptor

Hi All,
Just wondered if there is a cheap ,
easy and accessible adapter something like the RB one
AFAIKT RB wont ship internatinally,
and I don't want to have to wait for ages for a aussie dealer to order it in and then make a 50% markup on

Have you contacted RB directly to get some answers?
Prosport Gauges offers a similar setup.

Lot's option for this stuff, I personally think the RB adapter sucks.

I use this one for the sensor for my turbo cooling circuit.

But there are options for the main hoses as well.

I used the red prosport adapter in the upper radiator hose, replacing a stock coupling, but you'll need to use screw clamps, not the stock spring clamps, as the lips on the prosport adapter aren't as big and it'll pop off when driven hard.

I have ProSport Premier Clear gauges and really like them. I add a kill switch on the power cable, so I can turn them on when needed, and don't have to listen to mad beeps for short trips.

I drilled and tapped 1/8" NPT into the thermostat housing and screwed my sensor in there . Initially had problems with it reading all over the place . Found that was caused by the sensor touching the housing , now it is fine .

Not sure if it works for the Series II, but check MazdaEdit, the tuning version. You need the software and a dongle to attache to the ODBII port, but you should be able to pick any turn on temp you want.

Does anyone car for remote oil filter assemblies/kits for the RX-8? I have an idea I have been sitting on for a long time but I have not sensed market support for it, so I have not allocated time/money to develop it (yet). It is a very simple and detailed version of the "remote oil filter adapter" kit but it does not involve slapping an adapter on top of the oil filter base and it would include proper orifices for oil temperature sensors to be installed.

Just wondering is anyone cares for a remote system that absolutely would not leak.....

We made a setup :) But it was mainly designed with us in mind, it won't work for most stockish RX-8's. It also work on the Series II with some changes.

You can see it installed here with my turbo oil pressure regulator setup.

All of the hoses and fittings are made in the U.S.A. "push lock" hoses. The Oiteker clamps are for extra insurance and not really needed at all with the pressures these lines will see.

Hi Well,
I went and bought the RB adaptor, as I've never had any RB parts before and felt like I should buy at least one for all their hard work over the last 30 years.
I'm

not sure it will fit the RHD 2010, as the piping is certainly not the same as in the picture on the install instruction.
