Wanting to make my Automatic Shift look like a Manual

Hello,
this may sound ridiculous but does anyone have experience making their automatic shifter look like manual? like take off the plastic bit where it says P, R, N, D, M and just putting a boot cover on it? now before anyone says get a manual, in where I live its literally impractical but I still like the look of the manual shift boot. just wondering if its possible. thank you!

ps. i have a series 2 if that matters?

I don't remember it being done.
You'd have to measure it so see if a round RX8 boot would cover it.
If not and you just want a boot there are some square aftermarket ones on Summit and Amazon.

I’ve seen it done on other cars. You can always make your own shifter boot if you know someone who can stitch you one. Just a few pieces of leather.
