Low powered light sub?

Anyone using a low power lighter sub? I don't want too powerful of bass. Just have out grown that now. I got quoted a good price on installing a single Memphis PR10 in a ported tuned enclosure. I am sure that would be more than enough but wanted to see if anyone ran anything smaller or lighter. I want to keep the factory unit, Bose system, just add a little kick.

Thanks

You'll probably find more info in series I. I'm quite happy with a Kenwood 6104D mono amp (200/300W). It's Class D which is very power efficient which then only requires 10 ga power wire run to the back. That makes for an easy installation along the cable tray under the door threshold trim. The rest of my Bose based system looks like this:

Image Dynamics XS-28 front mid-tweeters.
Alpine SPS-609 rear speakers (6"x9").
Alpine SPS-1005 rear tweeters (1 cm).
Boston A. S-35 center-front speaker (3.5").
Polk Audio AA3105-A MM1040 DVC Sub (10").
4080 RHS trunk-mount Subwoofer Enclosure.
Auxmod "basic" auxiliary head unit input.
Second Skin Damplifier soundproofing.

You'd have to verify fit on some of this for series II.

Perfect candidate for a Bazooka tube. They're lightweight, have the amp built in, easy to install/uninstall, cheap and very effective. I recommend the 8" 250W. Should be plenty.
