Oil sender in this location


anybody tried this location for a sender/sensor?

what did you use there? Oil pressure? Where did you mount the oil temp? In an oil cooler?

I used a pair of banjo bolts that were drilled and tapped with 1/8th NPT fittings. For temp I used a
K-type thermocouple K-type thermocouple
normally used for EGT in the bolt on the front cover (before the oil coolers in the flow path) and connected it to an
analog-to-digital converter analog-to-digital converter
so I could read/display it with an Arduino and a 20x4 LCD display. For pressure I used a
150 psi pressure transducer 150 psi pressure transducer
that outputs 0-4.5V connected to the banjo bolt where the cooled oil re-enters the engine. Again, connected to my Arduino.
