Digital Oil Pressure Gauge?
Been looking around and have yet to find a digital oil pressure gauge that has a sending unit with a high enough pressure threshold to accommodate the series 2 higher oil pressures..
There's mechanical gauges, but i was looking for a Digital gauge, anyone know of any? Thanks |
since all the Oil Pressure threads are zillions of posts long and I don't feel like reading...
what does the Series II oil pressure top out at? |
My Prosport Premium Op gauge goes to 150PSI.
|
Somewhere in the realm of 150-160psi i remember reading...
I was seriously considering getting Mazmarts oil pressure mod... but my current gauge tops out at 100psi... Edit: 156psi for the series II https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...8&postcount=14 |
Is 145 max psi not enough for Series II? Here is a link to Prosport Digital Gauges.:scratchhe

150 - 160 PSI?!
My '05 has never topped out my gauge which can read up to 100 psi. WOW. |
|
The RB gauges are maxing out on guys with the Mazmart OP kit. There are pictures in the Mazmart OP discussion.
|
damn...with 156 psi, is there even a oil pressure gauge that could read that?
|
As I posted before, my Prosport goes t o 150, that is high enough, you will only see that high of a pressure in extreme redline driving situations.
|
With the Mazmart oil pressure kit, my Summit gauge would work over 100 psi but wouldn't display the leading "1". A much better cheap gauge is Glowshift which runs 0-145 psi.

Ive been using Glowshift digital gauges for a while.
They can read 0-145 psi. http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/red-d...e-gauge-1.aspx |
i have see RB website the Gauge Panel Kit can read 0-200 PSI but the TYPE II Oil Pressure and Temperature Sensor Adapter cant fit s2 ..................
any idea should i buy it first ? |

water temperature (120-240 F), oil temperature (140-280 F), and oil pressure (0-200 PSI) it say so 2004-2008 model but i really confuse~:dunno::dunno: |
I thought there wasn't a sandwich plate that fit the s2 since the filter is in a tight spot
