Front Splitter questions

Hey guys, I seen a video on YouTube the other day on a guy making a custom front spltter from a piece of aluminum sheet metal and I was wondering if anybody had seen anything like this done for an Rx8 specifically an R3?

I didnt do much searching and I've seen a guy with a white R3 with one on PurelyRx8 Facebook page in a couple pictures but could never get an answer from him!

G Man did a custom one for his R3, turned out really freaking well.

Built2apex is currently in development for making a front splitter for the series 1+2 rx8, said they'll release more info on it in a few weeks IIRC. I might be getting it and I'll try and see if its any different for the R3's and regular rx8's bumper

I believe the one you saw on facebook is a generic one from APR.
Is it the same white R3 that also has the front canards as well on the front bumper?
Because those are also from APR as well.

Have a look at the thread here, particularly the bits at the end. I'm pretty confident that what I say there is true, but as there is some disagreement you'll need to do a bit of research to make your own mind up.
