Good results from them? Any negative side effects?

The "upgrade" isn't worth the money.

Its a couple HP at best. I threw it on cos its a fast install and a pretty blue color. You will notice the tach getting to 9k a bit faster too. If money is important to you don't bother with it though.

Try the run to 9000rpms under load (in gear) and... see that there is no difference
Pulleys are a waste of money for most... they are great if you remove tha a\c though

The only pulley difference from S1 to S2 is the water pulley.

well i made a phone call to racingbeat they told me the s1 and s2 crank pulleys are different and that a aftermarket pulley made for s1 would not fit on a s2. i'd like to know how RX8pwnage installed it did you have to modify it?

I know this is old but I was looking to get some SRmotorsports pulleys because of the power claims then I read this thread, and looked at the upgrades again... yea I'm just going to buy a BHR ignition upgrade for Christmas instead.
THX. for the heads up fellas.

Don't do it ... don't
Pulleys are NOT worth it for power gains.

I have a set and they look great ... did nothing ...but look great. (I have dyno ... with other mods as well ... net effect ... crap)
Oh I bought the SR Pulleys

That's because you're not smart spending $1k for something that throws less flames than a 200$ race pipe! Plus it's underneath the car so no bragging rights that add hp...
$1k of stickers are the way to go, didn't you know?

I see no shocker sticker or JDM style ones, no race stripes either or flames. They are the only stickers that add power and that a racer should use. Don't you know?

The average sticker's weight doesn't justify the HP increase. Lets not forget the difference between vinyl and plastic. Don't get me started...
