yup you got a rotary :p: very raspy when you run catless

Renesis07 09-04-2010 02:14 PM

yup, mine sounds raspy with the midpipe. I wouldnt compare it to a civic however, it doesnt rasp that bad. From a couple miles away, my car sounds like a street bike that's revving very slow lmao

ok...am not crazy..lol.....low rpm is good it is juste near 3000 -4500 rpm the (grinchhhhhh) come.. and at high rev sound like a superbike.....do you think whit a beter mid pipe or whit a resonator i fix the probleme....my plan it is to put a turbo kit...do you think whit a turbo, the qualitie of sound is beter...thank for your help........

With a properly resonated midpipe, the raspy and loud sound can be tamed. Look into midpipes such as BHR and Racing Beat Dual Resonated if you want to keep your car catless.

Yes, resonator is your friend.

+1, I am very satisfied with my Racing Beat Dual Resonated / Greddy SP2 setup.

+1 for more resonators!

Adding a turbo would quiet it down even more. You could have a shop cut and weld in resonators for you but have them give a quote first. It might be more effective to buy the Racing Beat or BHR that has them all ready. Good luck.

HEY! I drove a CIVIC once! Annnd nooooo it wasn't too raspy..... Greddy Evo'ed it right

Mine even sounds raspy with a high-flow cat and catback exhaust.
