Performance is far from thrown out the window, it's just not on the forefront. 245/40 at least. 225/45 is weak as hell. You can do better

 

I only made that statement to try and talk some sense into him/her. My vote is heavy fender modification, 265/35R18 front and rear, and a 1.5" drop. That would be a super sweet setup.

Something tells me that he will slam it, put 225's on, and run over 2 degrees negative camber to fit in the fenders though.

I wanted both answers I wanted the facts and opinions.... gives me the opportunity to make an educated decision.. Crane thank you, you gave me the best advice out of everyone ... that is all I was asking for... thank you for answering My questions.. In will say that 265 is wider than I want . I'd like some stretch...

 

My advice would have been to look through the thread a little bit and see that this is a common fitment. You would have seen that 225/45s are way tall and could have had an answer to your question five days ago. A 265/35 on a +20 is gonna be rough to fit without a bunch of work. I know because Jdigits yells at me every time I say that is where I'm going next.

 

First off I'd like to say I like your Sig... is that your ride? What's your wheel set up? I did do some looking thru a good bit of pages .. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for .. not specifically .. I Also know that every wheel brand, offset and tire combo fits differently... was trying to get a ln answer specific to my situation..

Fenders rolled and tabs abused with a big hammer and an angle grinder.

Not much room for any more tire without a lot more abuse.

 

If you want stretch and you want stock height then I have to believe you are an uneducated ricer noob.

One website says they'll fit, another says they won't on my 05 AT

Bolt Pattern(s): 5x100 / 5x114.3 (5x4.5)
Offset: +42mm / Backspacing: 5.9 Inches
Hub Bore: 72.6mm

They will physically fit, but unless they are a winter set, I wouldn't recommend them. The stock wheels are 18x8, and there is no reason to go narrower (unless for winter).

 

05 at was 16x7.5 on base models I think. Still there are better options

 

Would I have any problem running a 19x9.5 +40 all around on Stance GR

Im more worried about rubbing on the inside when im turning. I know it will fit with a little fender rolling etc.

Tire size would probably be a 245/40 or what do you guys think.

 

Saying you are on coilovers means nothing. No rubbing on inside

 

Last time i didn't post what suspension I was on I got told I needed more info so thanks anyway

No you need to say what suspension, but it's the height that matters. Coilovers are variable........and 245/40/19 would be a terrible choice

 

Hey. I'm kinda new to this whole fitment thing so I was wondering what exactly is offset, I still don't understand what it is. Also I am looking at some 18X8.5 or 8 and tire size will be 225/45. Will the tires even fit? I was looking at a certain setup, but I can't remember exactly what tire size it was, might have been 255/35 or 255/40. Also I will also be getting coilovers and lowering about an inch if that is possible.

I actually just got a better idea of what offset is, so I think I gonna run 34mm offset because I'm gonna eventually get bigger brakes. Oh yea and I found out tire size is 255/35 which will it fit better on 8 or 8.5 wheels?

Lets try this again. Is there a hand holding smiley? That wheel is almost the same s the stock ones. The tire is too wide for that wheel. (Pause for effect.)

 

Well I know that's close to stock. Alright then what about 59mm offset with 18x8.5 with same tires with approximately an inch of lowering. Is this possible? If so will I need to roll or pull fenders?
I'm not going for anything too aggressive, I'm just trying to to lower and fit the wheels and tires I want without doing anything too extreme so I won't lose handling because I frequently go on mountain runs. Also i might fet bigger brakes in the future. What do you think I should do?
