You can do whatever you want, but you will end up doing all the work twice since you have to pull the shocks anyway. Your shocks may be good now, but with the higher spring rates of the new springs they WILL wear out sooner.

Those are 16" rims, right? If so they only have a chance to fit an auto with the small front brakes. If you have the specs of the wheel, we can give you a for sure answer otherwise.

^Go with some 265's instead. 275 is a bit wide for a 9" wheel. With the +38 you will be fine and not rub, but with the +28 there is a very good chance that you will rub depending on the tire you choose.

okay so i want to get Stern ST1's but I don't want to stagger them I want 18x8.5 and i want them to have the same offset as oem rims maybe considering a different offset i just don't want them to stick out the wheelwells or rub. So what is the exact offset of the RX8 OEM rims? I've been looking for it but just can't find it.

I believe... 18x8 +50
but spending money on rims, you might as well get at least somewhat better fitting. Doesn't have to stick out, but I'm guessing you'd want at least 18x8.5 + 32 ish or so for a safe fit

Excactly the rims i'm thinking of getting are 18x8.5 but i want them to have a slightly more flush look without rubbing and having to roll my fenders

what tires can get i get on a 19x9 +45 dropped on coilovers w/o rolling? 235 looks stretched, but is 245 ok or should i got wider? this is just for street daily driving.

i want to run the NT05s but they only come in 235/245/275 nothing in between.

245 Look at Jantzenrx8's new advan pictures. Those are 245/40 on 18x9 +29. 245s look fine to me. Shouldn't even be close to needing a roll. You should be able to run 275s also if you wanted.
