First of all, would the alloys fit the car, and secondly would the tyres be wide enough?

I searched through a small portion of this thread... which is more than it sounds. Couldn't find this

Option A. 18 x 10 all around (Preference)
Option B. 17 x 10 all around (with 315\35\17)
+24 Offset
114.3 5 holes (duh)

Option 1. 305\35\18 (Really want, is it doable?)
Option 2. 285\35\18 (Probably doable?)
Option 3. 335\30 (Don't really care, cool to know though)

What combination of A and Numbers will work, and if all fail, will B work?

18 X 10 +40ish will work

18 X 10 +24 won't without a lot of fender/camber sdjustments

15 mm = that much trouble?
We talking a roll? Or Roll and some camber? or we talking stretch...
I can do the 1st two myself, 3rd... no.

I can get 18x9.5 in +35 form... would I be able to fit the same tires?

Thanks BTW :-)

Do you need 285-335s all around on your car? I'm going to assume that's WAY too much tire unless you have some crazy stuff we haven't even heard of yet. 18x9.5 +35 will fit and you can run 275s with a roll.

I honestly don't need it. However I am more interested in how much tire I can fit. Everyone does 275, Im pretty sure I can do 285. but why stop so close to the elite group of ppl that can run 300+mm tires.

short version: Just like to be unique

285 will fit on 18x9.5 +45 (or so I've read) You are talking about adding another inch of tire at least. I can understand wanting to be unique, but there is a reason it will be unique.

300 all around will not fit with out rolling the fenders. I have 19x10 rears with a 295 and the tires are to boxed off. I had do roll the rears. If i had a 275 it would fit with out rolling.

Just to clarify, (I kinda unclearly stated this). I have no problem rolling fenders (have done it before and have access to the tool), nor do I mind a slight (AKA streetable) amount of camber.
Honestly I'd be willing to alter the fenders, but I'm not a body guy so it really depends on the cost. I really just wanted an idea of how much tire I could fit without stretching.
I've gotten a few good answers thus far and I appreciate them all. Thank You.

you won't get a 305+ to fit without a rear fender roll regardless of the wheel offset, there just isn't enough room between the inner and outer fenderwell surfaces, plus the diameters get larger with these sizes too, 295 is about the modless limit with a wide wheel and you'll be limited on how low you can drop it, which is a good thing because most people lower the chassis too much and f up the geometry

I thought that the sidewall is a percentage of the width, so a lower sidewall would offset the increase via the width?

that's a generality, you have to look at the manufacturers actual specs for accurate info, but there are very few 305s made now, most dropped to 295 or went up to 315

285/30-18 is around 24.8" OD

295/30-18 is around 25.1" OD

315/30-18 is around 25.5" OD

335/30-18 is around 26" OD

the ODs will all vary several tenths based on the brand/model chosen

you wouldn't happen to know the diameter of the stock wheel and tire

25.9", but it's also only a 225 width

the lower the car and the wider the wheel/tire, the less vertical clearance available on the outer fender lip area

What offset would you require to achieve that modless limit with a 295 tire?

^How about you figure out what the offset the wheels are, and we will help you. It could very easily fit, and it could very easily not fit, depending on offset.

ok so I think Ive got my decision down to this:

18x10 +35 with 265/35/18 all around

will it fit with rolled fenders and moderate camber?

okay..here goes..
18x8.5 front
18x9.5 rear

with 35 offset

front tires
225/45/18
rear tires
245/40/18

i was also wanting to lower my ride, with the Tien S-Tech Springs, and wondered if this would clear it.

it'll clear fine, if you want you can run a 9.5 +35 all around with a 255 and it'll clear fine

for the front's go with a wider tire; 245/40 or 35 would be better

you'll clear ok with the rears. - you could run up to 265 but with a roll.

I looking at a set of 18x9.5 +22 offset ... what would be the biggest tire i could run and is there anyway I could do this setup on Tein s-techs without rolling or camber adjustments? Thanks!

^With +22 your going to need a roll. Even if your running a 245 size tire, you will still need a roll.
