Thanks! I reread your post and see the rim specs are more aggressive and tire is wider

You realize these are sunk in farther, right? Not bashing, just want to make sure before you commit to tires too.

Well on my current setup, the fronts are flush and do rub with dips, however the rears with the Panspeed over fenders are sunken in with the 245/40/18. I figure going from 8.9 to 9.5 would make up for the offset with the new tire size.

Thanks for the visualization! Was trying to find a calculator like this!

You're going to be more sunk in now than before due to the offsets. Hopefully the calculator linked above showed you that.

Let me do the math for you:

Front will be 10mm inward from current setup
Rear will be 2.3mm inward from current setup

There, no more assuming, guessing, "looks like"...

Looking at some 18x9.5 +35 offset offset with 245/35r18 on stock suspension or Tien sport coil overs with about an inch drop. Weigh about 24lb before tire. Optionlab r716 for reference

I’m not reading through 450 pages worth of comments so I’ll just ask. What’s the widest tire/rim combo I can get without any modifications currently have stock suspension

Hey guys, looking for some sticky, but lasting (at least 20-30,000 miles) Tyres. I have some Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position 225/45/R19's on my R3 rims but it seems they're getting pretty worn out (Also stretched fairly wide for some reason... Isn't that the OEM size?) And I'm looking to go 255/40/R19's since this:https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...h=8&offset2=30 Says they'll have damn near minimal difference in speedo error. Thoughts? The Potenza S-007A's seem to have good reviews and look like they're a step up from the pole positions but I'm hoping you guys might know of something a little cheaper.

Advan Sa3R

Please Help! I'm looking at 17" Super Advan for the Rx8 and have a few options. Currently the car is on stock suspension but can get coilovers if needed. I will also need assistance on choosing what tire spec front and rear will work on said wheel specs. My choices are:

1. 17x8 - Front 17x9 Rear 5x114.3. offset +28 on both

2. 17x8 +35 Front 17x9 +38 Rear 5x114.3

3. 17x9 +42 5x114 all around

Thanks!

Hello, Salutations from Asia,

Wanna ask if this will fit, and what tire size should i go with?

On Tein Flex Z Coilovers

Rays Gramlights 57CR
Front : R18 x 9,5 ET 22
Rear : R18 x 10,5 ET 22
Please recommend tire size too.

I want the car to look flushed and functional, but not too low/chambered.

Thanks in advance.

How much work do you want to do? you are about an inch from easy....

So you will need a lot of camber or a lot of work on the fenders

Hey everyone, I am looking at koenig Ampliforms with the following specs
AM98514356B 18×9.5B 5×114.3 +35 - the B is for the more concave face (square setup)

I plan to dual duty track/street drive the car. I have a fender roller and don't mind trimming bumper tabs however I would like to keep front fender liners in tact and not hit the arms. I am guessing these wheels would fit and look flush (functional- not hella flush) with 255-35-18s?

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Mazda axela/atenza wheels

Hi guys
I just bought an RX8 without wheels for 2.7k nzd

Looking to get cheap wheels for it as I don't want to really sink any money into it before I get it compression tested (no difference in cold and hot starts so here's hoping its fine)

I have the option between these work euroline wheels which are 18x8 and 18x9 (two of the tyres have a slow leak) and these mazda axela/atenza wheels which are 18x7 with 215/45 tyres on them.

My car came lowered on coil overs and I don't know how much buy (I don't really know hot to adjust them either). The previous owner was running 18x8 wheels with 1 inch spacers on the rear with some rubbing.

Will any of these wheels fit? as I desperately need some for cheap even if its just temporary

Thanks in advance!

17x8 +30 offset

Hi Guys
I just bought an Rx8 type s without wheels for 2.7k. I'm just looking for wheels now and i can't find stock ones for a decent price.

I have found some ROH 17x8j wheels with 225/50/17 tyres on them, the seller believes offset is +30

will these fit my car?

otherwise will have to go with some uglier Koya wheels 18x8 wheels with 3 tyres and 1 shot tyre for the same price

The 17x 8" 30 offset should work OK. Some 17" have clearance problems over the brakes... but most fit
