Who has Stance coilovers

hey i have heard great things about stance coilovers and ordered them for my eight.

Well i would like to get some feedback from those of you who have them how do you like them what setting do you fun them at etc.

thanks

I have them and they are great coilovers especially for the price! They are quite stiff and bumpy on the road, but they perform like a dream. Another great thing is that they can drop lower than most coilovers out there.

god just make me wish i had them now will ya lol

I have them as well, I agree with silvere8. They are stiff and bumpy even on the lower setting. The build quality on them is excellent.

Carrot Top has them

HockeyRX-8 02-13-2010 11:17 PM

I have them....just not on my 8 yet :(

Don't know who Carrot Top is. But I have them, I AutoX and do Track days frequently and so far they are great. I'll probably be switching to some custom valved Bilstein's later this season though.

whys that^

Because they are a good coilover for the average user, I don't think they will be nationally competitive in SOLO.

pineapplesoymilk 02-14-2010 11:39 AM

i got ya

I have these coilovers on my 8 for months now. They feel amazing and how much lower I can go is just awesome.

I run it pretty stiff...thats how I prefer to daily in. I started off full stiff and worked my way down.

pineapplesoymilk 02-15-2010 03:27 PM

nice you have sway bars to go with them?

I heard they squeek a lot at the top bushing area, you might want to lube it real good or check it.

SiLVeRE8 02-17-2010 10:10 PM

mine never squeeked... maybe it squeeks cause its installed incorrectly

khronus79 03-19-2010 11:10 PM

So I just installed a set of stance coilovers on the rear and my car still at the same height as my koni/htech combo, 27in. from ground to fender:banghead: even though there's a 3in difference in length between the coilovers and the koni/htechs.

I had the same problem with the koni/htechs vs the OEMs, when I first put them on they were the same height as the OEMs but I was told I needed to let them "settle" and the would eventually get lower, I don't drive that much so about 2 months later they have only come down .5in(from 27.5in to 27in). After I preloaded the front suspension the car lowered immediately and settle to 26in.

I bought the coilovers because I didn't want to wait for the koni/htechs to "settle", but I still can't get the car to come down any lower than 27in, is there a way to preload the rear suspension like you would preload the front??????

Any Ideas, thoughts, any one had a similar experience????

By the way I took the car around for a drive and it feels great, there's absolutely no weird noises and it rides just like before, but a bit harder. Help.
