I have been reading and come up with a couple questions I couldn't find answers to.

1) For the most part people suggest either 225/45 or 245/40 for tires. Does it matter what size I use for winters? Some suggested 225s because of something about grip and another said it didn't matter. 225/45 is the stock tire size. 245/40 is "better" for grip. For winters I would use 225/45 since they will be cheaper and a skinnier tire can be better in snow

2) What does the following bolded section mean? 8.5" wide - +35 to +50 with 245/40/18, 255/40/18 +35 and +50 are the wheels offset. +50 is the stock wheels offset. +35 means it is 15 millimeters closer to the outside fender in the wheel well. Offset is essentially how pushed out or pushed in the wheel is from the wheel hub.

3) For the wheels, if im not going wider than 245/40, stock 8" wide wheels will work just fine correct? Yes
