what size spacers for flush look?

i want that flush look on my rx8. and was wondering what kind of spacers to get. i'm running 245/45/18 g-force tires on oem 18" rims. Thanks in advance!

+25mm seems to be the right size

The maximum size spacers.

check what 9krpmrx8 is running as spacers, he used to have the stock rims flush setup down straight

truejee 06-23-2011 07:43 AM

thanks. his tire size was 245/40/18 so it should be the same for me (245/45/18). I'll look into it after i lower it on tein stechs and koni yellows. thanks again!

Eibach's 25mm spacers are the ones to get.

i have koni yellows with tien stechs. the wheels that were on my car when i got it are 18x7.5, not sure about offset. my tires are 225-40-18. spacer suggestions?

Why are you running a 245/45-18? The overall diameter will be too tall but it should look ok. 25mm is the right size.

I got the same setup as 9k, I used his thread. Turned out perfect. tein stech with 25mm eibach spacers = flush

i got my 25mm spacers, not that flush but looks better than none. lowered on s-tech and MS-T II wheels (18x7.5 + 50, 225 45, 1.5° camber front, 2° rear) could have gone 30mm

Here's your problem 7.5w with a 50mm offset??? You went completely in the wrong direction

Rotary-RX8 07-30-2011 08:43 PM

^ yup. If your wheels were 8 wide with +50 like the stock wheels then it would be flush lol.

MaD666MaX 07-31-2011 06:49 AM

i didnt chose those wheels, got them with the car...got the oem with winter tires

it would stick out 6mm more with oem wheels, but i have more camber than oem

Pico 07-31-2011 02:03 PM

^ How you got these wheels has nothing to do with the OP's original post. Posting pics of a car without a OE setup with 25mm spacers could very possibility confuse the OP even more.

In all honesty 9K would be the best member to post up pics considering he made the original thread dedicated to this mod.

And your camber measurements are much closer to stock then they are aggressive
