tried searching for a thread and now cant find it on tpms disabling

all threads relating to the disabeling of the tpms module are not showing the one i am looking for. It said to cut the blue/red stripe wire on the tpms module and wa-la the warning light is off. i did print the diagram from the thread which has a web address on it.

bumpity bump... i tried cutting this wire, but the light is still on. What happened to the thread on disabling the tpms. was that just false info?

I hope somebody knows the answer as I also need to disable my TPMS light.

The only way I see is to fool the PCM into not looking for the TPMS module..this is n the "as built data"

can the sensors be placed in some kind of pressurized jar?

On that note, how much do the sensor and associated weights weigh?

btw, i cut the wire, but the light stays on. however, the beep seems to have gone.

switch for TPMS option?

Has anyone tried installing a switch or switches that will allow turing off the TPMS warning temporarily when using winter and/or track wheels? If someone would point me in the right direction, I would like to have the details or be willing to try it. Is TPMS protected by its own fuse?
