Tein Flex w/ EDFC

Greetings :)
This question is for those who have experience with Tein Flex w/ EDFC system on their car. I just had the suspension kit installed and while im driving im hearing clicking type noises from the back wheel wells, the same kinda noise when gravel hits the wheel well. I just got this suspension kit installed so Im not sure if its 'normal'

I don't know if this is applicable to the Tiens, but I had the same noise with my JICs. What it turned out to be was the positioning of the springs in the rear. If you look at the top spring seat, it is close to the metal lip that goes around 2/3 of the top "hat". If the end of the top coil was close to the lip on the edge of the hat it seemed to slip off the rubber and come in contact with the lip whenever the suspension moved upward. I turned the springs so the end of the top coil was next to the flat part of the hat and the noise went away.

I hop this makes sense. Anyway, good luck finding the cause.

go back to dealer and ask him to fix it. a friend had the same issue and the dealer gave him a small rubber piece (don't ask me, I dunno) to place it somewhere in the rear suspension to stop the metal from grinding. sorry i don't know much, i don't have the teins

I have the tein with edfc, it works perfect on my car. i told the guy drop the car 1.5 inch front and back, but that stupid guy dropped my car all the way. now every bump road i drive through my tire will rubbed the paper thing.

i thought it was simple to raise and lower your car it can be done by hand ???

^^^ It is, you just need the two tools. So you should just go outside, raise the car, and boom, all done in a matter of maybe 30mins for the whole car.
