What are the dimensions on the STi brakes?

I've seen someone on here sporting STI wheels...can't remember who it was...

don't waste your time/money, just buy the RacingBrake kit instead

most RX-8 wheels will not clear it anyways without a much deeper hat to go with the seriously offset caliper bracket, or huge wheel spacers, we tried to fit some RX-8 wheels on an STI, not even close

STIs and the RX-8 have very close to the same offset and the '05+ STIs have the same bolt pattern. However, the centerbore on the RX-8 is notably bigger (67.1mm vs. 56.1mm IIRC), so OEM STI wheels wouldn't fit an RX-8 without being bored a bit.

STI rotors are nearly identical in diameter to the RX-8; within a couple mm. But I'd say the odds of the caliper mounting holes lining up perfectly with the ones on the RX-8 are very, very slim.

Unless you are tracking the car really hard, and honestly even if you ARE tracking the car really hard, the odds are good that the OEM calipers will perform nearly as well as the Brembos anyway. Just get some good race pads such as a Carbotech XP8 (or XP10 if you're really serious), proper fluid, and perhaps some Goodridge lines for even better feel, and you'll be set. Never mind the fact that the piston sizes in the Brembos probably aren't optimal and would throw off your front-to-rear bias anyway, effectively making your braking worse.

did any body know RX-8 front and rear caliper mount holes how may mm from the center to the other center of the next hole? cruse I want to buy a Wilwood bolt-on caliper ,I need to know to size , Thank you !!

Nice thread bump and thread jack. Why not just measure it yourself

Don't waste your money on the wilwoods. Their "cheap" calipers are nothing worth replacing the stock ones with, the expensive ones are in the AP racing range.
Racing brake is the way to go if you're looking for a decent and cheap upgrade.
