Just got the Pirelli Sottozeros - As seen on Police Gallardo

Hey Guys,
Anyone have any experience with the Pirelli Sottozero winter tires? I was checking them out on Tirerack.com. I guess Tirerack recommends 225s, but these were 215/55-17 which I hear is better for snow and ice. Anyways, I got them mounted on a set of ASA JH3 17x7.5s, and they're supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Anyways, I was doing some more research today on these tires, and I came across this article...

Cheaper than the Pilot Alpin PA2s that I was looking at, narrower so they perform better in the snow, and designed for Lamborghini? Sweet...

Total was $1068 + shipping.

Well, I guess testing out the Pirelli Sottozeros will be my first contribution to the community then! I just got them put on 10 minutes ago, and the ASA JH3 seven spoke wheels look pretty sharp. It hasn't snowed in 4 days, so I won't really get a chance to try them out until the next blizzard. Also...I guess she's only three days old too, so she's still in her break-in period. Check out the pictures though. The tread pattern is unique, and I'll feel much more comfortable driving her around the slushy Boston roads now.

I can say after a crappy Jan Feb and March here in Southwestern Connecticut, my Sottozeros on 17" rims have been awesome. Good dry weather handling and good snow traction.
