Rim fitment question ???

Well im this close to cutting a deal on some rims but I need to know if they will fit first.... The front are 18x9 41offset and the rears are 18x10 45 offset

If they fit they'll hopefully be on my car next week, and i'll post pics up asap.

also what size tires should I be aiming for

dannobre 01-29-2008 06:24 PM

They should fit well

Staggered sizes 265/275-35-18 Rear
245-40-18 or up to 265/35-18 front....(265 bit wide for 9" rim though)

or you could run 265 on all 4 corners...

I also have tein s-tech springs, So Im going to have to roll the fenders rights... also will I need to adjust my camber in any way

OBTIQ 01-29-2008 07:37 PM

anyone know if im going to need to roll my fenders or adjust my camber ????

sammytcl 01-29-2008 07:53 PM

depending on what size of tires you are running.
any size under 265/35/18 in front and 275/35/18 in rear on your rim sizes should not require rolling fenders, but maybe need to camber in a little bit more.

OBTIQ 01-29-2008 08:34 PM

well I just bought the rims, so Im going to have to do 265 for the front 275 for the rears ???

I have a customer that's running 265/35/18 with 18x9 35mm offset in the front with -1.5 camber and lowered, and no need to roll fender. On the rear, he is running same size but have to roll the fender.

People have been running 18x9.5 45mm in rear with 275/35/18 without any issue, so you should be good, unless you are going to run oversized racing tires such as the Toyo R-888.

i hve 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the bak offset 41 in front and offset 45 in bak also with tein s tech springs, no camber adjustment at all just fender roll, tires are 235/40/18 and 265/35/18, no rub at all, perfect

I would like to see this happen asap.

Joe, whats up. I just bought some SSR's as well. there 19 x 9.5 all around with +40 offset on all 4. Looks like i might do 255/35/19 all around or a stagger 245/40/19 in the front and 275/35/19 rear; and I hear that I will not have to roll fenders. I am also Not dropped yet, so maybe its different. Let me know how it turns out - ken
