Replacing suspension bushing

Thinking of replacing the suspension bushings in the front and rear.

My major question is do the ball joints go bad? Seems kind of pointless to replace the bushings without replacing the ball joints if the ball joints will fail eventually.

The OEM ones that have all the front and rear, pretty much just unbolt and replace will cost about 540 for the fronts and 800 for the rears.

I also will be needing a camber kit, so either going with whiteline on the upper control arms give it .5 deg of adjustment, or with drop engineering lower control arm to give it .6 deg of adjustment.

Estimated cost about $1400-$1550 for parts.

OEM bushings are very good and I would be happy with them. If price wasn't an issue I would go with stock rubber bushings.

If the ball joints aren't an issue and I want to save a buck. I looked into using whiteline bushings. The rear kit would only cost 200 and the front is another 160.

Estimated cost about $360 for parts and $150 for a press = $510, and a lot more labor.

For 3 times the cost, I would suck it up and get the bushings out, but if the ball joints will eventually go. I would go the OEM route.

After some research, I am just going to replace all the control arm and linking arm with oem parts. The time, the quality of the oem bushing, the chances of ball joints failing. It just makes more sense to pay now instead of later.
