Replacement suspension bushings
 

After rebuilding my engine the refurbishing bug bit me and I started working on my suspension and sub frames. I saw that quite a lot of bushings were past their due by date and now I am looking for replacements.
From what I have gathered from the forum the OEM bushings are preferred but they seem to be unavailable anywhere and especially around here in Europe.
I see a couple of possible solutions:

• Energy suspension bushings (~€200-250)
• Powerflex purple bushings (~€971)
• Strongflex bushings (€520)
• Polybush bushings (€720)
• Superpro bushings (€411)

There are some other options like whiteline or hardrace but those are either very expensive and/or hard to find.
Atkins and other renowned RX8 shops offer the energy suspension option and it is the cheapest so I am leaning towards that one.
I want to be able to daily drive it without needing a monthly dentist trip because my teeth are shattered.

What would be the best option?

OEM replacement. Seriously. I did the energy suspension change at some point, it was a pain to do, especially the LCAs, and at some point later I went back to OEM due to the LCA recall, and honestly, no difference.

What does the rest of thee suspension look like?

I'd love to get OEM stuff but I am unable to find it anywhere (I think I need a full set, as in every suspension bushing).
The rest of the suspension as in? The arms are a bit corroded but not bad. The seals on the ball joints look fine.

They tend to come with the control arms / links already pressed in.

Rest of the suspension as in stock? Mild upgrade? Hard track setup?

Yeah but I'm not looking to buy all new suspension arms. Not only is it not necessary I think but I also don't see the monetary sense.

The suspension is bone stock. I just got some second hand KW coilovers.

Well the thing is you'll spend more time/money replacing the bushings in your arms than just replacing the arms. FWIW may want to make sure you've had the LCA recall since that gives you new arms and bushings free.

With a stock suspension, there's no sense in upgrading the bushings. If you're running harder suspension for track, then maybe.
